Feedback Form

If you prefer to submit using a hard copy, you can: 

  • download a feedback form and email it to submissions@bdc.govt.nz with the subject ‘LTP survey
  • post it to Buller District Council, PO Box 21, Westport 7866, or 
  • drop it off at Council’s offices in Westport or Reefton, Buller District Libraries, Ngakawau Community Centre, or Karamea Information Centre. Hard copies of the feedback form are also available at these locations.


The feedback period is from Monday, 28 September, to 4:30 pm Monday, 26 October 2026. We will not accept feedback received outside these dates.

Council services

Council works behalf of the community to provide key services, infrastructure, and facilities that support daily life and help make our district a great place to live, work, and visit. 

These services include maintaining local roads, footpaths, parks and reserves; managing rubbish and recycling; supporting community facilities such as libraries, pools, playgrounds and cemeteries; planning for future growth and development; protecting the environment; promoting community wellbeing, emergency management; and ensuring compliance with public health and safety requirements. Council is required by law to provide these services to the community and maintain them to a certain standard.

Your feedback will help us understand which services and activities are most important to the community and where we should focus our efforts in the future.
